“Internet publishing has hit a certain plateau. As a field, it’s come a long way—larger and broader readership accessed, in general better and better work being published. That said, I think that internet publishing has reached a stage where if we, internet publishers and authors invested in the internet as a publishing venue, don’t come together in some way, a way that uniquely works for who we are and what we’re wanting to achieve, we may lose some of the momentum we’ve built over the past, say, 5-7 years.”
